Amid mass protests by students, during which some 2000 protesters were killed by government forces and government party thugs, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled the country. An interim-government has taken office backed by the leaders of the students’ movement. The nation is now discussing the roadmap for a new Bangladesh, and one of the key discussions is regarding reforming or re-writing a new constitution.
